Open your project.
Go to
File→Export→Export IFC Project.Use the default IFC settings or select the appropriate template.
Export and save the file.
🏗️ SketchUp (Pro version)
Requires IFC export plugin or extension:
Install an IFC exporter from the Extension Warehouse (e.g. IFC Manager).
Open your model and run the export tool.
Save the file in
.ifcformat.
⚙️ Other CAD Software
Most BIM/CAD platforms have an IFC export option under File → Export or Save As.
If you're unsure, search your software’s Help section for “IFC export”.
✅ Tips for a Successful Export
Export the full model (interior + exterior).
Include key details like structure, layout, and objects.
Your file size should be under 100MB. Removing layers can reduce the file size.
Name the file clearly, e.g. [property address_v2]
