Optimizing Graphics Settings for Harth on Windows

Follow these steps to ensure your computer is using its high-performance graphics card:

Step 1: Set Chrome to Use High-Performance Graphics

  1. Right-click on your desktop and select Display settings

  2. Scroll down and click Graphics

  3. Look for Google Chrome in the list of apps

  4. Click on it and select High Performance

Don't see Google Chrome in the list?

  • Click Add desktop app

  • Navigate to: C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application

  • Select chrome.exe and add it

  • Then set it to High Performance

Step 2: Enable Hardware Acceleration in Chrome

  1. Open Chrome and go to Settings

  2. Click System in the left sidebar

  3. Turn on "Use graphics acceleration when available"

Step 3: Enable Advanced Chrome Flags

  1. Type chrome://flags into your Chrome address bar and press Enter

  2. Search for "Override software rendering list" and set it to Enabled

  3. Click Relaunch to restart Chrome with the new settings

Note: After making these changes, you'll need to restart Chrome for them to take effect.
